I had the honour to experience a Greek wedding as a guest. Being used to the relatively modest Finnish weddings, I was blown away by all the fuss around a Greek one. Certainly interesting, though! It wasn't enough that the wedding reception hall was decorated, they decorated their houses, and even pets, too! ("Just so that *everyone* knows my son is getting married!") This picture is of the in-laws' freshly painted house.
